Hello everyone,

There will be a public information session and AGM for Truro & districts raceway at the Tununda Club, Tununda on the 11th of March at 7:30 pm. Anyone that's interested in this topic are more than welcome to attend:- drivers, current local club officials ect.. . There will be an open discussion about the track/club and also dates for this years working bees will be anounced.

Thanks to everyone involved both the guys in Adelaide, the Barossa group, sponsors and anyone else that has backed us. To go from a idea over a few beers late last year to hopefully running cars on the track in the next few months, shows how dedicated the committee has been to get this up and running.

Keep an eye on this new thread I will update deveolpments on the track leeding up to the open day.

Cheers Matt

Not much to report until the next meeting. Another new driver on board :- Jason from R.E.V.S rotarys has just purchased a series 2 RX7 for himself and his son yesterday. Nothing too crazy, basically stock until the young bloke gets a bit of practice. They may buy a second car in the near future and hopefully he will put both builds up on the site. Shows how keen people are when they buy a car after only watching a video of Dirt circuit. I'll keep you updated with any developments.

Cheers Matt

Good to hear Matt, keep the ball rolling and I'm sure you guys will do fine with your track , sounds like you wont be running short on drivers or cars.
Has any more work been done at the track?
Cheers Mark

The track hasn't changed much from the pictures but give us a couple months or so and we should getting close to running cars on the track. We currently have all the materials to finish the saftey fencing and canteen. Pipes have been laid from the bore to the the toilet block, which is 75% completed and most importantly there are plenty of volunteers for working bees. Mrs Cris Veran has kindly donated the land, facilities and all her hard work to the local community and our committee so as of the AGM on March 11 we will be officially Truro and districts raceway inc.

Cheers Matt

Good to see some of the interested Adelaide guys & girls join the site and with the number of people that have come on board in the last week or so we should see alot more in the near future.

Just reminding everyone about the meeting next week, March 11, 7:30 pm at the Tunuda club. Hope to see a big turn out.

Thanks to everyone who came out to the track today. I sure everyone out there was impressed with the track layout especially the down hill sections and the speed out of the top banked corners. I'm looking forward to seeing a few cars testing the log track layout at the next working bee. Perhaps we will set up an in car camera next time so everyone can check out the Mount Panorama of dirt circuit.

Thanks Matt

PS :- We will put up signs from Truro next time. It might save people half a tank of fuel to find the place.
