Here are some things you need to do to get started ....

1. Go watch a race meet so you can decide whether its for you

2. Decide which Club you want to join and pay your membership

3. Buy a rule book from your Club Secretary

4. Get ambulance cover if you haven't already got it

5. Decide what car you are going to build for what class eg Street Stocks, Modifieds or Open Wheeler

6. Once car is built get it scrutineered at your Club

Then go race !!!!

A group of guys from Perth contacted my several years ago . They were building openwheelers along Chris Coopers design. They had some land and were going to build a private track. If they had enough interest I think they were going to start a club. Hopefully they see this post or maybe hit some of the wa car forums to track them down.
