Just wondering what the requirements are for exhausts in burnout cars. I've seen a car get thru scrutineering with exhausts poking up through the engine bay, so if I have an exhaust poking out each front fender would that be ok?

A little sumfin like this...

Trying to fry your front tyres as well?

Bring it outside the body and I don't think you'd have a worry.

I've seen one that had his poking straight out the front from under the guards similar to yours, just sounded the strangest when he done a heap of donuts and the noise kept coming from the wrong end lol

haha nah just won't have the time nor funds to get it out the back b4 the comp (if we even make it at all). They come close to the tyres, but still plenty of clearance.

Can't believe how hot stuff gets tho, well so far just the manifolds as they were glowing red after idling for about 5-10 minutes, I guess could be coz they're log style so don't flow as well as extractors (not that it matters with what's bolted onto them lol). Will heat wrap them tho, and got sleeves to go over the spark plugs, and might buy those blankets for the turbo's, just depends how the funds go. Only got just over a month to go and still got a fair few bits to buy.

The dump pipes aren't clamps, they're a 5 bolt flange. Still wouldn't be hard to do but don't think I wanna. Might just have to buy a few meters of that flexible exhaust so we can run it back a bit.
